Cyntia Hand-Drawn: The Art of the Singular
A stamp can be repeated. A machine can be programmed. But a hand holding a canting — the traditional Javanese wax pen — creates something unrepeatable. The Cyntia Leather Bag Mini in Hand-drawn Batik celebrates this truth. Every bag in this collection is a canvas for an artist’s hand: the slight waver of a line, the organic flow of a motif, the tiny variations that prove a human being made this. It is not just a bag. It is a signed work of art.

Hand-Drawn Batik (Batik Tulis): The Highest Form of the Craft
Batik Tulis — literally “written batik” — is the most revered and time-intensive form of Indonesian batik. The process is meditation made visible:

The Canting Tool: A small copper reservoir with a fine spout, held like a pen. The artist fills it with molten wax and draws directly onto the cloth — no stencils, no guides.
The Artist’s Eye: Every curve, every dot, every delicate line is placed by instinct and experience. The design grows organically.
Dye Bath by Dye Bath: The fabric is dyed, the wax removed, and new wax applied for additional colours. This can take days or weeks for a single piece.
The Signature of Humanity: Slight asymmetries, gentle imperfections, variations in line weight — these are not flaws. They are the unmistakable signature of the human hand.

Owning a Cyntia Hand-drawn Batik bag means owning a textile that can never be exactly replicated. Your bag is the only one of its kind.

Genuine Cowhide Leather: The Frame of Permanence
Such precious fabric deserves a worthy frame. The Cyntia’s base, trim, handle, and structural body are genuine cowhide leather — chosen for its strength, its subtle grain, and its ability to age gracefully. Over months and years, the leather darkens slightly at the edges, softens at the touch points, and develops a patina as unique as the batik it holds. This is a bag built to outlast trends.

Antique-Finished Hardware: A Quiet Glow
Zipper pulls, clasps, and metal accents carry an antique finish — darkened and burnished, as if inherited from a stylish grandmother. The hardware does not compete with the batik. It frames it, like gilt around a miniature painting.

Suede Lining: The Secret Softness
Inside, your belongings rest against plush suede — protective enough for your smartphone screen, grippy enough to keep cards and keys from sliding, and soft enough to make every reach into the bag a small sensory pleasure.

Compact Dimensions, Curated Life
At 24 x 10 x 18 cm, the Cyntia Mini encourages intentionality:

Your smartphone (generous fit for large models)
A slim cardholder or your essential cards and ID
Keys, lip balm, folded notes
Nothing more. Nothing less. Just what you need.

It’s the anti-clutter companion — lightweight, focused, and liberating.

From Day to Evening, Effortlessly

Morning Coffee: Adds a wash of cultural elegance to jeans, a white shirt, and sandals.
Professional Settings: Tucked under your arm, it signals taste, discernment, and a connection to global artistry.
Evening Events: The hand-drawn batik catches the low light of a restaurant or cocktail lounge — and catches the attention of everyone who notices real craft.
Travel: Packs flat, weighs almost nothing, and serves as your elegant companion when you reach your destination.
